Girard Winery Wine Dinner

The latest special event held at Cafe Blue was a Private Wine Dinner sponsored by Girard Winery. Importer David Jesperson of WJ Duetsch described the winery, the vineyards and explained the various wines' origins. Chef Kevin's courses were inspired by the wines and envisioned with the pairings in mind.

Crispy Risotto Cake, Italian Sausage,
Spicy Tomato Sauce, Asiago Crisp
Wine Pairing: Girard Zinfandel

THIRD COURSE
Oven-roasted Beef Tenderloin, Creamy Blue Cheese Sauce
Mashed Potatoes, Asparagus
Wine Pairing: Girard Sauvignon

DESERT
Chocolate Truffels
